A Registered Holistic Nutritionist who graduated at the top of her class with honours at The Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. A lifelong passion for health and fitness has been her motivation in pursuing a career in helping others achieve the best health they can through Natural Nutrition and a healthy active lifestyle. A firm believer in freedom of choice when it comes to health care, she is able to provide you with the tools needed to make the best choices for your health.
As a member of the Canadian Holistic Association of Nutritionists Professionals, she has conducted weight loss studies and detoxification workshops at Trillium , Mindful Movement Centre, Moksha and Hot Yoga Wellness Centres throughout GTA. Kalayaan has spent the past 3 years counselling martial arts students at Rising Sun Martial Arts, and Salvosa BJJ. Designed a nutrition program at Fitness Clubs of Canada and Habitual Fitness and Lifestyle to complement individual training programs. Kalayaan has ongoing Nutrition workshops at Running Room locations for their running clubs, East Village Yoga, Pilates Studio she is also currently developing a nutrition program for youth soccer players to enhance training and performance through sports nutrition. As a mother of 3, Kalayaan has dedicated her time in schools to educate children about healthy eating as well as providing sessions on positive body image and individual consultations with those struggling with eating disorders.
Kalayaan writes a bi-weekly health column for The Philippine Reporter called “Ask Your Holistic Nutritionist”, where readers seek for nutritional advice. A Wellbeing Counsellor for Sobeys Ontario and a member of the Canadian Association of Holistic Nutritionists Professionals. A lifelong student at heart she continues to further enhance her knowledge in health and nutrition through advanced courses at The Canadian School of Natural Nutirition, most recently completed theTeacher Training program.
