Social Media Blogger Specialist

CFC is seeking a well-rounded intern for its Social Media Bloggers team. The intern will play a key role in actively engaged with CFC’s customers and social communities across multiple social media platforms, publishes daily social media content, conducts on-going social listening, responds quickly to customer service needs in social media, and is a brand ambassador for CFC. This role coordinates with the Marketing Director to support their respective missions, ensuring consistency in voice and maintaining a positive relationship with customers (current, former and potential) and partners.

RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Assist in coordinating CFC’s Social Media platforms for the upcoming event on Saturday, August 27, 2016.

Manage an active presence on social media sites including Facebook,
Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google +, YouTube, Yelp, Blogs, and new and emerging social media platforms engaging customers, fans, and helping to maintain Company’s reputation online

Publish daily content across social media platforms according to social media and marketing communications calendars
Influencer relations – communicate with existing bloggers and influencers and identify new influencer opportunities
Monitor all social media sites for customer service needs and respond in a timely manner, working with Marketing team to provide information and solutions

Monitor and respond to customer comments on our websites and blogs, when needed

Conduct social listening and share insights, customer requests, and areas of opportunity with key stakeholders

Complete tasks on time and be able to monitor and respond on social media on off hours as needed


QUALIFICATIONS AND INTERESTS:

We are seeking a dynamic, committed young person who is:

Creative and outgoing personality

Has a keen interest or experience in the health and wellness industry

Social media marketing experience

Strong organizational skills and ability to self-manage

In-depth knowledge, passion and understanding of social media platforms, their respective audiences and relevance for various activities

Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, including strong spelling and grammar skills

Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Experience in food, sustainability, and/or organics a plus; interest a must

Public relations or community management experience a plus 

 

Business Marketing Intern

CFC is seeking a well-rounded intern for its Business Marketing team. The intern will play a key role in the overall public relations efforts. The Business Marketing Internship provides a learning experience during which intern will participate in all aspects of planning and coordinating marketing, promotions, and outreach for all CFC initiatives, programming, events, and projects. During this program you will have an opportunity to gain experience in the field and enhance your skills while working under the direction of professional mentors. This is a great opportunity for you to gain invaluable experience in marketing with a vibrant and growing organization!

RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Assist in coordinating CFC’s Marketing and Communications Plan for the upcoming event on Sunday, August 24, 2014.

Assist in writing and distribution of press releases, media advisories, and other internal and external communication material.

Draft, edit, and distribute marketing collateral materials. This includes copy for newsletters, website, fliers, brochures, as well as spotlight videos, and other media presentations.

Assist in identifying corporate partners through sponsorships, special events and other cause-related marketing and development opportunities.

Communicate regularly to the Marketing Director on the status of the tasks assigned.

Carry out all responsibilities in a professional, timely and effective manner.

Be an organized and responsible professional with both self-initiation and the ability to function as a team member.

Good organizational and time-management skills; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Perform other duties and carry out any other requests as required by the Marketing Director.


QUALIFICATIONS AND INTERESTS:

We are seeking a dynamic, committed young person who is:

Has a keen interest or experience in the health and wellness industry.

Actively pursuing or recently completed a certificate in Nutrition and

Wellness, Bachelor of Arts/ MBA degree in Business, Marketing,

Nutrition or have an interest in pursuing a career in Marketing and

Communications, Public Relations, or related fields.

Well-organized and self-motivated

Strong communications skills, oral and written

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
